About Mindy Grossmann

For more than 35 years, I have dedicated my life to helping people discover their strengths, overcome challenges, and find their path toward growth, healing, and success. My journey began in education as a Special Education Teacher and evolved into leadership roles as an Assistant Principal, Behavior Specialist, mentor, trainer, workshop developer, and educational leader serving students, families, and staff throughout my career.

Working with individuals of all abilities taught me one of life’s most important lessons: every person deserves to be seen, heard, respected, and valued. Whether I am supporting a student in crisis, mentoring educators, helping families navigate challenges, guiding someone through a life transition, or standing beside a couple on one of the most important days of their lives, my work is rooted in compassion, connection, and service.

As a Special Education Administrator and Behavior Specialist, I have spent decades helping individuals understand that behavior is communication. I specialize in relationship building, crisis intervention, de-escalation, positive behavior supports, social-emotional growth, and creating environments where people can thrive.

As a trainer and workshop developer, I have had the opportunity to work with many educators, administrators, and support staff, sharing practical strategies that foster stronger relationships, improve communication, and create positive outcomes for students and adults alike. Through professional development, coaching, mentoring, and collaborative problem-solving, I help professionals build the skills and confidence needed to support the diverse needs of the individuals they serve.

Beyond education, my heart led me to another calling: helping people heal, celebrate, and honor life’s most meaningful moments.

As an Interfaith Minister, I serve people—not theology. I believe that every person’s journey is sacred and unique. My role is not to tell people what to believe, but rather to honor their beliefs, traditions, values, and life experiences. I welcome individuals, couples, and families from all backgrounds, faiths, cultures, and identities.

As a Wedding Officiant, I will help you create a ceremony that is deeply personal and uniquely yours. Whether you are planning a traditional wedding, an interfaith ceremony, a spiritual celebration, a same-sex wedding, a vow renewal, or a completely non-traditional event, I work closely with you to create a ceremony that reflects your love story, your values, and your dreams. Together, we design a meaningful experience filled with authenticity, joy, and love.

I also create baby blessings, house blessings, memorial services, celebration-of-life ceremonies, and other personalized ceremonies designed to honor life’s important milestones.

A significant part of my healing practice centers around Reiki, energy work, crystal healing, and chakra balancing.

As a Reiki Practitioner, I believe that healing begins when the mind, body, and spirit are supported as one. Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that promotes relaxation, reduces stress, encourages emotional balance, and supports the body’s natural healing process. Many individuals seek Reiki during times of stress, grief, transition, anxiety, fatigue, or when they simply feel disconnected from themselves.

My Reiki sessions provide a peaceful and nurturing space where clients can slow down, release stress, and reconnect with their inner wisdom. While Reiki is not a substitute for medical care, many people experience a deep sense of relaxation, clarity, emotional release, and overall well-being following a session.

I am also drawn to the healing energies of crystals and chakra work. Crystals have long been used as tools for grounding, intention setting, emotional support, protection, and spiritual growth. Chakra work focuses on the body’s energy centers and their connection to emotional, physical, and spiritual wellness. When these energy centers are balanced and flowing freely, many people experience a greater sense of harmony, peace, and alignment in their lives.

My approach to healing is gentle, heart-centered, and intuitive. I believe that each person already possesses the wisdom and strength they need within themselves. My role is simply to help create a safe and supportive space where healing, growth, and transformation can unfold naturally.

At the center of everything I do is one simple belief: healing happens through connection.
Whether I am teaching educators, supporting families, helping individuals navigate challenges, developing workshops, providing behavioral support, offering Reiki, or creating a ceremony that celebrates love and life, my goal is always the same—to help people feel seen, valued, empowered, and supported.

I am honored to walk alongside others during both the joyful celebrations and the difficult transitions of life. My hope is that every person I work with leaves feeling more connected to themselves, more confident in their journey, and more aware of the light they already carry within.

With gratitude and love,

Rev. Mindy Grossmann
